Yarnspinner is a toolset for guiding the course of ongoing tabletop storytelling games by investing in the ways that we contradict and surprise each other in play.

Inside, you'll find five pages of simple tools for unpredictable, collaborative campaigns:

- Rules for generating worlds full of interesting juxtapositions of colors and ideas.

- A framework for playing out campaigns across multiple game systems, shifting the focus of the story often to explore the hidden corners of your setting.

- Mechanics for weaving the stories of places and people through your game as recurring motifs that crop up in unexpected ways.

- A game for bringing campaigns to a close.

deeply inspiring game/tool. i've only read it, not tried it out for real, but it definitely made my brain spin. lately it's been on my mind how to get all players equally invested in the world and the story. yarnspinner is leading me in a new direction

This is sweet. Sweet is a color. This is fine. Fine’s a fiber. It’s here. Here’s a thread. Here ends my turn. Will it love life like love?

Thanks! Sweet is a lovely color.
